Wendy has been recognized Nationally and Internationally over the past decade for her work in teacher & coach education. She regularly presents at conferences focusing on issues and research interests associated with Play Practice, teaching and learning in complex environments including sports, group work, teacher and coach professional development. In 2002, Wendy worked as an advisor to the American Sport Education Program. She regularly conducts professional development workshops for teachers through ACHPER the professional organization and has consulted with Australian Sports Commission (ASC), State Departments of Sport and Recreation, Departments of Education and National Sporting Organizations including the Australian Football League, Lacrosse, Netball, Athletics, Touch.
